No House Of God
No building on earth could be the house of a god,
For the sins seen inside are from the man of the cloth,
Lies have been plenty,
Corruption and greed through the ages,
They do not practice their preachings,
But rewrite the pages,ย
How dare they poisen youth, destroying innocence and truth,
I could kill them with my bare hands, children are not forbidden fruit,ย
The subject makes me sick,
But i can't ignore, for it exists,ย
If I could give them back the pain they gave, I would place it on their wrists,ย
Dear child, your brave soul inspires strength, seek salvation in your search for peace,
And to see you smile in spite of pain is worth a lot more than these words to me,
I would fight 'till death,
To right the level,
Maybe we should end religion,
To smite the devil.

Absolutely brilliant piece of writing and such a controversial subject, it's a travesty what goes on in the name of religion but yet people still honour their faith by keeping it, it's a person's choice and rightly So, not mine but hey ho the ying and the yang.

I also believe that God doesn't have a house, can not be housed even though He may designate one just to ease our focusing in unity as we all need a focal point to pray and invoke the invisible God.ย
And yes corruption might happen in houses of God I'm sure even if I didn't personally witness any except committed by outsiders upon the inmates like Isis type evil men entering mosques to kill devotees.ย

and because I've known followers of religion to do real good things if u look at majority and not minority of say Muslims then I feel we shouldn't end religion, we should try to annihilate the devil.

yes, by saying children are not forbidden fruit is to say that they are not/should not be an object of temptation,ย
I would hope that a close observation of religious groups would show less corruption, however these are specific groups of people that claim they are in touch with god and can be trusted. So from my point of view the non corrupt are doing as they should be the ones abusing their position of trust are what I will fully focus on as they are destroying lives and in the case of my poems' subject preying on innocent children who need guidance and protection as they grow.
Iย do not think having faith in a god or anything, to guide in life is a bad thing. But in my opinion religion is just other people telling us how we should worship/communicate with whatever it is we believe in.
Faith is personal to each individual, as I believe religion should be.
