No more, street wars

I’m breaking my silence 
Let me hear you shout it with me 
No more violence 
Let’s get the world back on its feet 

Young boys it becomes a wasted life 
Who set out on the dark roads
Too young to be holding a knife
A gun for “respect” they load 

Death or a cell the only way out
Two families broken, never the same 
No more violence,  let us shout 
Let’s make it safe again 

Gangs, targets, dirty aim 
Wrong place, Wrong time
Kids playing a deathly game 
Our streets full of cowardly crime 

A waste of a life, a mum with no son
A aching void, an empty space won’t heal
No more violence,  knives or guns
Kids killing kids, it’s just so surreal 

Mums fall to there knees, a scream and a cry
Her baby boy gone, the pain
She couldn’t even touch or say goodbye 
No more violence let’s help are kids,  to stay away from this horrific game
