Label me, go ahead and pick a word, there’s not many I haven’t heard, put me in a category, I promise you I won’t worry, I’m here to stay, I’ve lived long enough to know not to hurry, patience is key, so here I wait, waiting for you to label me, friend or foe?

Only you know, cool or lame, just give me a name. Isn’t that what we all do, dissect my existence based on your life’s relevance and build me up or break me down based on convenience, I’m not asking for to much, just be genuine and decide with patience on who it is I should be within your life…

Now do me a favor and do the same exact thing for the person you share your life with and then maybe your poems wouldn’t make me cry…
