No One's There

Will it always be, when it's all I've ever known
Before I walk in... no one's waiting behind the door
I kill the light and in its vacuity, I destroy
The fractions that inflict affiance, artificial to the soul
Fucked by my fantasies, my passion bleeds
For what never was, nor will ever be, but forever lost
Phantoms assemble and begin to circle around the void
My hollow caves in, to occlude the entrance
And below the rubble, I reside
By dusk, my will unravels, in a stoic hushed quiescence
Convulsing in an existential scream
Before I awaken to a sunrise captured
Waiting to set again and cast its exclusive shadow
Upon the restless as they dream
And where time ransacks my peculiar heart
I wait for you to pay the ransom
As I languish within this decrepit cell to starve
This love is a tragedy, trapped in an embryonic dream
Yet an inborn cause that can not cease
Until your presence dawns
Athirst, I crave your love, if only a touch
I would become, impassioned by the flame of yours
At once I would be alive again
But until our eyes engage, I will let these wild thoughts run
With hope they'll intertwine with yours
For the inception of a soul's embrace

How masterfully put, such an elegant love story twisted with the ever present chaotic mind.
