Noise

Sinking in the dark abyss,
How did it come to this?
Head pounding,
Sirens sounding.
Wishing for things to be silent,
Because sound has become too violent.
People say sound brings some of life’s sweetest joys,
But to me, I’m just drowning in the noise.

That is very true. Earlier today, I was sitting in the car and since today was so overwhelming, when my siblings simply hummed it was too much. Sometimes, we just need a moment to ourselves in quiet.

I just got home and watched an episode of Tokyo ghoul... who knew watching an anime about cannibalism would be so peaceful after a stressful day? Lol... I prefer music... thank you for your wonderful comments!
