Noises In My Head

Noises In My Head

Lost in the darkĀ
I am so confused
As to what to do
Where to turn
Who to trust
The world has turned to dust

Right in front of me

I find it surreal
I am haunted by ghosts
Of all the recent dead
They cry in my head
Why us?
Why did this befall us?
Fate is not a good word
It creates distance
Removes responsibility
Everyone needs something
to blame
I do not hate God
Although I doubt his interest
To let such innocence be met
With the sinister plans of men
You can smell a plot
Between rich and power hungry
It just reeks of desperation
To destroy a generation
I am probably a loonie
Too much time in solitary
So do not mind me
As I return to isolation
AmongĀ  the dead
