Poem -
Nominated
i am getting nominated
because I am new to the site
my verse is not complicated
rather it is simple and actually bites
However to make me feel good
i am chosen over those who can write
regardless of how the rankings stood
I am rewarded for this poorly written kite
So give me 5 stars
and I will collect my reward
will save it in my money jar
to spend when I get bored
wont bother to get better
by reading other poets’ pen
for I am the one with the contest letter

AMEN brother!!...... perhaps a little harsh...... but..... nonetheless....... true!!.....I hate to say that..... but the truth matters to me...... however..... it does not take away from the fact that this site has MUCH to offer new writers and established members as well..... the truth is..... it's OUR community and we can make of it ANYTHING we wish within the set parameters..... what the hell..... let's just be writers supporting one another..... and eloquently say FUCK OFF to the bullshit surrounding our enclave......KEEP writing and befriending one another and we have a place to gather in the majesty of truth..... surrounded by the powers that be who, by the way, cannot take our unity away...... so let them make their money..... and we will continue to inspire one another regardless..... for after all..... don't we benefit as well?..... just sayin'!!......Killer write bro...... thanks! I am just frustrated that some incredible writers are passed over. Some of the winning poetry lately was obviously chosen because the person is new to the site. I love this site and my brothers and sisters in it. The editors I am sure are great people. I just find the process, unfair. So In the spirit of exercising free speech, I am just stating it how it is to many of us here.

hi Greg this is the 2 time you complained about this
when I came to cosmo in 2016 the owners
of comso would pick a writer and ask tham to pick
a poem of the mouth so lets say they ask you Greg
that means you had to read every poem 24/7 every
day for mouth and when you made your pick you had
to be far about it that means you couldn't pick yourself
so tell me in your busy life you work do you have time to sit and read
every poem and be far about it if you work full time that's no
then one day the owners change this site to the way it is today
so if you have problem with this site and the owner write to tham and tell
tham what you think and see what thay say ok have nice day Greg

i do not have a problem with the site or the owners of this site. They have created a wonderful community that I am so thankful and appreciative in being a part of. I wrote this poem only to give awareness of many of the great writers out there who should be recognized for the art they create. I should be allowed to voice my opinion. Furthermore who is to say that I have not written about my concerns to the editors? I have.
