not asking for the world

not asking for the world

wishing you would call
i'm lying here all alone
writing all my thoughts has broken all my bones.
we gave it all up,
we threw it all away,
there's nothing i can do
nothing more i can say.
i'll follow through again this time ,
i'll swallow my sword
spit out my pride
screaming i'll be just fine.
i wasn't asking for the world
and you know i wasn't one for following through
but i've made so many changes,
i now know what i must do.
everyone looks the same, I'm lost just mumbling your name
i wasn't asking for the world,
i just wanted back my little girl.......
