Poem -

not only my grandad, but my best friend too.

Grandad, god took you away from me in 2008, by the time I got the chance to say good-bye it was much too late.   I can't even remember my final words to you, one day you seem perfectly fine the next day my time with you is through.    God decided he needed another angel so he decided to take the best grandad in the world, that's why he took mine, why did I only get eight years with you grandad with not a least nine?   You were my best friend my shoulder to cry on... Who can I turn to now that your gone.  I still laugh at the little moments when you would say ta tar for now, well grandad I may not be able to give you an award but you really should take a bow. God must of needed you up in heaven, maybe that's why he took you in month number seven.  I would give anything to wake up in the morning to a milky brew, made with live just from you. We may have no choice but to be apart, but grandad every promise I ever made to you remains a secret in my heart.
