Poem -

Nothing

I'm never the one people notice,
I'm the breeze in the background,
Always there but never noticed,
In social gatherings I'm the one in the corner,
The one no one ever talks to,
I'm quite a chatty person,
Once you start me off it's hard to get me to stop,
But why would I start when there's no one to listen?
I know when I'm not wanted,
It's like a weird talent,
Always saying or doing something wrong,
So I don't bother,
I keep myself captive,
A prisoner in my own skin,
Afraid to breath without fear of the implications,
The thought of being no one has been drilled into my head so much that I can't fight it anymore,
I'm nothing
