- NOVEMBER RAINS: DAY 25
- WILLIAMSJI MAVELI WRITES
- A TRIBUTE POEM TO
- HONOR LATE T.V.KOCHUBHAVA
_____________________________
- Like the light breeze whispering,
- In between the leaves of a pine tree,
- Dear Literary friend,
- (Late T.V.Kochubhava)
- Your pure soul lifts me, giving
- novel themes and great ideas,
- to scribble
- a love lyric,
- Your dawn dew, fallen
- on my green leaves,
- A love flower blossoms,
- I wait tolerantly to
- grow and to grow
- in the light of your eyes
- Seeking approval, knowing
- a console in your silent embrace,
- I listen carefully to what it offers.
- I feel the joy in your laughter
- I feel the grief in your tears,
- Discover to give of myself,
- for no verdict is passed.
- When sadness fills my heart with distress
- I need shield from the tempest,
- It is only then I realize the depth of friendship
- Stitched together with a strong thread.
- I know that the stuff only gets better with age,
- That it should be handled with care
- And sometimes it has to get wet in rain,
- And sometimes it has to get dried in the sun
- I have discovered my own beauty
- By lessons learned while discovering yours.
- Like the bright skies after the hurricane
- your daring to break free of the clouds
- Still amazes me.
- I close my eyes to feel the warmth of the sun
- Such a valuable gift you've given
- Appreciating the gentleness
- and I sigh with thankfulness
- Recognizing my fortune.
- A brotherly bond that knows only
- Love that is unconditional.
- Nurturing with elegance and acceptance
- To share a piece of my friendship and love
- with a soul that so perfectly fits mine.
- Your blessings are abundant
- And I thank God for the whispering winds,
- For they remind me every day
- To celebrate the gift of our
- friendship and to hold it close,
- To never let it go,
- still I stand on prayers,
- on 25th November, 2014
- after fifteen years of your
- departure from this world

WillDear All,
November 25th ,1999,was the day,my dearest literary friend Late T.V.Kochubhava left to heavens from this Earthly world, more than an author, film script writer, Kochubhava was like my own brother, He was my boyhood friend in literature since year 1970.
Late T.V.Kochubhava took his own initiative to print and publish my first collection of poems titled as RAGHA POOJA during year 1973 while I was attending my B.Com course at Christ College in Irinjalakuda.
EwToday, after 15 years of his departure,I was fortunate to attend a literary function hosted by Kerala Yuvakala Sahidhi in his name in view of promoting literature.
I am kneeling down before God Almighty and standing with prayers to rest his departed soul in peace.
Regards & Love
I agree with beautiful Flower. This is a wonderful tribute to your friend who will be missed dearly. My heart and prayers go out to you at this time.
