Poem -

Old School Way

I think, as your gone, that it’s too late,

to work so hard, and take such a fate.

A handful of friends, are found on this earth,

And you seem to always, have quenched all the thirst.

I beckon your call, you’ve always been there,

For me and for them and for all that did care.

Such a horrific thing that passed.

I miss one day, and your gone so fast.

Never forgotten for the rest of life’s time.

No one like you, they will find,

They will see with the passing time.

I think about last midnight past,

waiting for the next at last.

Bring me to another day,

make it different as I stay.

take my mind another mile, any way to make you smile!
