Once Upon an Evenstar

Once Upon an Evenstar

Once upon an evenstar
A light did shine so bright,
It was three days between the worlds
Then darkness birthed new light.
I saw a vision in my mind
A father then a son,
A ruling star that had to die
So a new life could be won.
I saw a kingdom split in two
Divided against itself.
This kingdom was at war because of power, fame and wealth.
The men would fight and bicker
And complain about their lives,
They fought against their children and they fought against their wives.
Then came along a saviour,
A hero for the few
He gave himself for all
But not many believed who knew.
But nevertheless he found them
And he saved them from from the war,
To the kingdom of the heart
They'd be with him forever more.
