One for Happiness

One for Happiness

My roots with you run deep into

The abyss of our tensions,

Whilst me and you one of two

Dwell in old dimensions,

We’ll come and go each time anew

This time feels wasted without you-

So you sit in your study chair

Trying to get Socrates out your head

Whilst in immense dread

           Of sealed futures,

Only time will tell of love’s indifference,

the past has happened as much as the future

my third eye is telling me it’s not over-

I can’t help but keel over in this Ambulance,

Death feels peaceful

When you’ve got Happiness.
