Star Crossed/What I took from University

Star Crossed/What I took from University

My love, how many years has

The truth weighed you down?

I cling to thoughts of my god like lover

If I don’t I fear I’ll drown

In Poseidon’s pool of lost intentions,

How are your eyes so close to beauty’s perfection?

I have a million reasons to kiss you but you

Have one troubled quarrel to overcome,

Between a liar and his wife,

And when we leave

Our mission sent by the stars

To free the ignorant minds of Persephone,

I won’t be thinking about before

Because I know with you I’ll be at home.
