One More Empty Seat

One More Empty Seat

Another wet pillow,
It's an achievement it was dry,
Outdoing a weeping willow,
For once please time fly.

Sinking lower into the bed,
Trying to keep the chin high,
I was so easily lead,
You seemed like a nice guy.

Sometimes it's best left,
Instead of living on repeat,
No more boundaries to test,
One more empty seat.

Wish it was better,
Can't change what's true,
A pillow can't get wetter,
And I can't change you.
