One step at a time

One step at a time

Father please forgive me for I knew not what I did.

I hurt the ones that loved me and I blamed it all on them.

It was wrong in the doing but that was way back then.

Now I'm asking for forgiveness so that I may start again.

I'm wanting to move forward with the rest of all my days.

But there are many roads to travel that can lead me many ways.

With each and every road leading to a very different place.

I'll need you to walk beside me so there's nothing I cant face.

Thats why I'm asking you to guide me and show me how to be.

As I travel down the roads that can lead me back to me.

So down these roads we travel getting stronger as we do.

There's still a long way left to go but now I carry you.
