One voice

Many times i thought this would be my last
The last poem that i will write
And then i would put on the tv
And try to have a simple movie night

And then i would see wars on the news
And hardship of peoples lives 
And the evil that humans posses in their hearts
The suffering on innocents trying to survive

And i would pick up my pens again
Knowing I'm just an unknown voice
But by writing about it from my prospective
There's a chance that my writings can make some noise

Just one voice can make a difference
One voice is better than none
And one voice can bring changes
That will remains long after we're gone

One voice can be very powerful
So don't just stay silent and look
or this life will remain a blank page
If we don't put our signatures on the book

One song can spark a movement
And bring millions to rally and protest
One flower can wake a sleeping dream.
And one tree can start a forest,

One smile can start a new friendship
One kind word can lift a sunken soul.
One star can guide a ship in the sea 
And one button can destroy this world

All it takes is one vote to change a nation
One ray of light to brighten a room
One candle will wipes out the darkness,
One laughter will chase away the gloom.

One step must start each every journey.
One word to start each prayer.
One hope to raise our spirits,
And one touch can show you care.

One voice that speaks with wisdom,
can open hearts to know what's true,
We only have one life to make a difference,
So now what we do it's up to me and you
