Our tatty old dog ??

There was a rotten smell the other day that lingered in our house
A stinky stench that wouldn’t go away as I sat gagging with my spouse
Even our tatty old dog left the livingroom and then he ran outside beside the bed of roses to sniff the sweet perfume

Well everytime he came back in that pungent pong got stronger so when he ran outside again I made him stay out longer
Yes of course I bet you guessed it coz the culprit was our pet and judging by the strength of stench I made an appointment at the vet

Was it something he had eaten maybes when I took him for a walk
Well goodness knows what had caused it but he stunk of putrid pork
You know that disgusting waft of gangrene, the dreadful decay of death
And Dammit but he smelt the worst he had ever been from his doggy breath

So I got a toothbrush and tried to clean his canine teeth when all of a sudden my mutt farted from ‘Oh my God’ his underneath
Then I took him into the garden and Jeees he was sick as a dog but at the opposite end of him and below his pointy tale he dropped a mahoosive log

Well the very next morning I took him to see a vet and because the young girl never smelt a thing, she said “Oh what a lovely pet”
Huh I looked at her and thought thats not what I am thinking
My mutt is driving me around the bend coz he is absolutely stinking

Never mind she checked him over and said he really seems okay but then she gave him a drink with a prescription anyway
So thank the Lord he took his medicine, I mixed it up with his meat
and I am pleased to say whatever was in that mixture well it has worked a treat!!
