OUT FOR THE DAY

OUT FOR THE DAY

I see that they've left their keys in the door lock,
I'm autonomous, a free agent, I don't have to knock,
spy you thro' the window in a state of undress,
some people leave their gardens in a terrible mess.

I wonder if they will have any boot racks in heaven,
no need for shoes - you won't be going back again,
a nearby dog takes a bite of my friends thick calf,
tell him to run - says that I must be having a laugh.

Someone said that there were many lonely housewives,
who needed a 'boost' to supplement their dreary lives,
I'm in a hurry, no real time for such racy exploitations,
If you saw what I see, you wouldn't have inclinations.

The old lady died, now the loud Irish builders are in,
they say it was bought by a Russian who had a big win.
