Outcast

As lockers slam and busy school kids stomp away,
I am still there to wait until the last kid leaves.
I begin my walk alone.
Unaccompanied as I stroll down the sidewalk.
The sound of cars passing and children splashing in the pool
drown away as I look down to focus on the sound
of loneliness,
waiting for it to consume me.

I am the outcast.

The fish of the sea

Hi Destiny! How are you? Long time no see my friend. Such a relatable topic here, one that I can resonate with from a young age. Though, I was always content with being alone and doing my own thing. Even at kindergarten I preferred to play by myself. Sorry for making this about me, a bad habit of mine, what I wanted to say is that you are not alone! The Cosmos is here and I'd love to chat! Peace and smiles. I hope you are well! Max
