Paddy the pancake

Paddy the pancake

Plain flour gives him edible power and he has two free fange eggs for his invisible legs
His skin is as soft as silk coz it is made with full cream milk
People call him Paddy tho Pancake is his name
but passerby’s nibble on his bits and bobs
This is such a shame !!

Poor Paddy the pancake is as runny as honey which at times is a pest and not very funny
He makes an excellent batter which gets the passerby’s fatter yet Paddy doesn’t care coz he is as mad as a hatter
On February the twenty fifth people will pour him in a pan
toss him up into the air to turn him over if they can

So happy pancake day when it comes from Paddy and me
Make as many as you can for your family
Add lemon juice or maple syrup or havem’ savoury
They are delicious with abit of sugar  and a cup of tea
Paddy the pancake is an extemely happy man
but he is happiest when he is frying in a pan
