Pain Before Halo

I had pain before I had a halo,
I had the right to before I had your say so, 

I had the light too,
But then I let the shade grow, 

Now I'm sitting in the dark not knowing which way to go, 

I see the stars and feel I could pull the sea apart, 
Phenomenal power, a gift like my beating heart, 

Physical miracle, no explanation typical, 
A mission to listen to, an individual giving truth, 

My world is the only one I live in, 
When you talk about your planet I don't really need to listen,

I'm spaced out, 
I don't see a reason I should visit, 
So just let me do my thing in peace and we can keep on living, 

We live a lie, like when you die you live inside, 
The truth is you're gone when you die that's why we sit and cry, 

I'm not saying there's no chance of spirit life,
But spirits live in spirit world, that's something we can't see with eyes, 

My minds eye can see inside the deepest lies,
I feel weak but swear nothing will defeat me twice, 

You wan'a stop me you better stop me properly,
'Coz if you don't put me down you'll just end up watching me.
