Parents and Property

Mother you can be such a pain:
You've tidied away my things again:
How am I supposed to find them.
When I don't know where they've been put?
Books, magazines, instruction manuals:
They all get tidied away.
Favourite possessions, medication:
There really is no shame.
To any parent reading this:
Don't move your son or daughter's property around.
These possessions have a tendency of disappearing for good
Never again to be found.

Hello Michael...
If my Mother was alive to read this...
She hid my stuff under the couch and little did I know it was the step before she donated it...
I thought she was getting confused because, when I asked her about it she had no idea how it got there...
I didn't find out the truth until I went to the thrift store after something I knew I had couldn't be found anywhere not even under the couch...
There it was hanging nicely on the rack...
There was a slight defect in it that I only knew was there and that's how I knew it was mine...
I bought it again because, the lady said if it's on the rack it's for purchase and I shouldn't have donated it...
I tried to explain but, she just said yeah I will put that with the other reasons...
She said it was a good story though...
There was no stopping her...
The Woman was going to do it and I was afraid I would not have any clothes so I just kept my mouth shut...
Hope you have better luck than I did...
She's a spirit now, and she still tries bless her heart, so once I say you better give it back she has too...
I tell her thanks and it keeps the peace...
Great write!
Thank you for sharing...
Hugs...
