Pariah

People asks me Why is my head hung down? Tells me I should smile, but Why should I smile when I feel like a ghost around this town. Casts me out, therefore they never get a chance to see what I'm about. They shuts me down tells me my words cannot speak, but I thought this was a America Right? Freedom of Speech, So why do you neglect me? Instead of helping me. You see the burden I hold, and you still mix fire with coal. Instead of throwing water over me, and putting me out my misery. They have no sensitivity towards me. Heartless and cold its like they don't even have a soul. What can one do? When others turns their backs on you. Pariah

Felt the honesty, interesting language usage you implement as well, adds a certain charm and flavors the verse, I like it tons, it's a freeing and interesting way to construct a poem; great message as well....enjoyed
