passionfruit

passionfruit

Passion fruit

Passion fruit was given its name for a reason
It's tangy taste and aroma of nectar-esque blossoms brings blossoms of lips and palms as they unfurl against each other
Not caring like a mother
No

Caring like a furious child and a raging God

Passion got its name from the vibrant sting of caring too much
And passion fruit got its name from how quickly it runs out
One bite
Two at most
Before passion turns to coastingĀ
And boasting as if your hearts current currency was worth as much after the economic fall
It leads to pushing
To forcing
Sprinting too long always leads to a crawl
Knees scraping the floor
It's leads to a crawl
And vomitĀ
Like when you fall
From the toxins you drink
That bring you to the brink of anything that your heart dreams
Swallow Toxins that remind you of the taste of passionfruit on your lips
And her hips
Hold it to your mouth like the glass was her lips
Your heart breaks once more
But Your face holds no trace of it
Like the passionfruit
Whose wrinkled plastic-ey skin always fails to tell its story
You leave a wonderful smell on the blades you turn upon yourself
You fall so ugly now
So gorey
Passionately addicted to it
So much glory
From your life's version of Shakespeare's writs
Tragedy blooms to blossoms once moreĀ
And you shake to the core
Where passion lies
Your and her hands tie up to pluck the fruit once more
Her succulent taste brings your flowers up
Ā the curves of her lips are written like the way the universe spells love
You fall so deeply into them
She remembered why she loved you
In her nights spent dreaming of her desire to hug you
She takes a bite of passion fruit
And holds you tight for the fifteenth time
Standing below the tree with branches stripped dry
As if the feeling hadn't already left
