The Paternal Fear

My love is now amongst the world as a sexual commodity

Began the purest angel but then made into a sinful body

Helpless and forgotten, no longer there to aid

Dreading the thoughts of her being a promiscuous maid

Her guardian, her sanctuary; these entities I imposed

Surrounded by demons of lust, her vitality now exposed

Consumed by those who desire the virtuous flesh

With thoughts as these, how could such a man rest

Alone, afraid, and no hope for redemption

Vexed by impure thoughts that should not be mentioned

A fallen angel who abscond from her sheltered domain

Now within a hell where lustful lurkers reign

Potential visions of reality invoke much rage

But even the most content bird should be released from its cage
