Piece of me.

There a sadness in the darkness that I held within my grasping hand, a peaceful  yet parcuclur faith, I knew my heart would understand
Torn between a life I lived and another being born, the tears I offered to the sun
Where it was newly dawned,Â
Had the darkness stayed a while, maybe I would have reflected peace, but stars they only offer hope, when daylight comes to cease,Â
I loved you in the mourning of a testimony made of sand, the angels and the tombstones the brevity of the land,
The light can offer something, but darkness knew to well, that when you died a piece of me had fallen into hell.
