Pinnacle
Problems of the Popular
Grain of salt,
Shadow of doubt.
Not my fault,
Don’t dance about.
Not my issue,
Your churning mind.
Yearning answers,
That’s just fine.
Your number one,
And I`m 72.
But tell me,
Is it lonely?
Is it true?
That standing on the pinnacle,
Is depressing, upsetting.
Because everyone`s
Sitting, just staring?
Well, your rock is limestone.
And waterfalls cut it deep.
Don’t lose your footing.
Dodge your problems.
With a grin that’s meek
The Fish of the Sea.

Standing on the pinnacle of a limestone rock...hmmm. Sounds to me like the person standing is going to take a tumble. I have no idea who the person is. Metaphorically I take it. An interesting write Max.

It's lonely at the top... is there a technical name for the phobia of that? Cause I think I have it. My lack of stagefright is what makes me petrified about being in the limelight 😜
