Poem -

Plains of Green

Plains of Green

So in plains of green I see you.
With your arms outstretched to greet the sun.
I hear your voice in song singing to the day.
 All the rain is gone.
All our tears are dried and smiles replace the frowns.
The light of heaven glows so white,
The stars are overcome.
THe moon the mistress of night even stayed to watch the show.
 The dead and living
are no longer apart from family.
Radiant faces aglow with joy
are the beacons of the light.
The echoes of salvation
Are the shouts of reunion and happiness.
Lord all I want to see is you  Standing in that field of green.
