Poem -

Plastic freedom

smiles are not really free

Nothin hollows me
 shadow cross or pyre
no thing will follow me evermore
brothers nailed to prayers and spine
crushed by my single footstep
born into chaos wired echo
repeated silent lakeside drift

25 cents buys you a cardboard smile
frozen tears sing on forgotten faces
raining smiles sting the eaten ground
dug a grave to drag behind
keeps the company
I needed

final lines will never rhyme
starving screams on plastic ears
Gods broke loose
and diamonds are really just stone
for 25 cents buy my smile

Wowwww!  Terry... Those lines are brilliant!  I can sooo relate to them. And the whole poem is super awesome. Wish I could give loads more than 5 stars but they don't allow that... Anyway, brilliant, brilliant work and pinned? x
