Player

Player

Iā€™m sorry he has you fooled

and you donā€™t believe it.

But I wonder why you canā€™t see it?

Is it because each time he opens his mouth,

all you hear are beautiful lies?

Or because all you see is him

with his disguise?

Never underestimate a playerā€™s mind.

Their pokerface might deceive you.

But take off their mask and youā€™ll seeā€¦

ā€œSurprise!ā€

He played you and your heart.

He won,

ā€˜cause now youā€™re in pain.

Broken and misused.

Heā€™s made you believe that love isnā€™t worth your time.

Now you fear falling and not being caught.

So what was the lesson that he taught?

Never fall unless,

you know that youā€™ll land on your feet.
