Poem -

JIMMY JOPLIN IS A NICKNAME

Each shuffled treacherous step
clashed above the wooden casket
as the wretched stairs
regurgitated him
into the valley
where new days fought
over another piece
amongst boredoms blanket kiss
and quest

Years requested into a scar
spread invasion intent
across blotchy swamps,
torn into unwritten fleshy pages
hard crusted feet
smashed down
on those diamond chances
splinters reached in solemn prayer
only to be emptied
only to be lost

silent spaces
stains unpainted in thought
blended within the unquiet
tired weary the visions weep
each collected
each a sacrifice
neat rows,
holy the cloth,
covering this light

A vomited mosaic
is the revenge well hidden
laughter glides in a sombre rainbow
strikes as his pain greets
pains only friend

unknown mystical  end
so
A stroke of what remained
such quiet lonesome puppetry
the short rolling cavalry charge
heated in escape
blasted rush
into freedoms spread thigh

LIFE
BECOMES DEATHS
MOST AWFUL ALLIE
