Plebeian of the Palace

A palace plagued by eternal rage
Royals run ruin, upon center stage
Secretive signs, designed by the mage
Rewrote the queens quote, poisoning every page.
'When will this warlock unlock his cage?'

The spells he concocted, implying ills will
Towards all the lords who live high on hell's hill
Shall soon be cremated,
bated by skill.
'Queens and Kings akin, I will kill'

Oblivious to their obvious frowns
Garbed in gold, embroidered gowns
Adorning jewel encrusted crowns
King and Queen await the clowns.
'Here they come, in leaps and bounds'.

Masking his mayhem
Cloaked by disguise
Several court jesters
Joke and surprise.
'These are the masquerades' alibis'.

Wise is the wizard, behind castle curtains
Bated breath waiting, for fate that is certain
His alchemy ails a failing reign
Unable to recognize prizes for fame.
'His wisdom in wizardry invokes the insane'.

While clad in robust, regal robes
Injustice is gestured by camouflaged clothes
Nobody knows of whats' to come next
Hiding in shadows, protected from vex.
'He vastly casts his harrowing hex'.

Complex plans, land where he commands
Waving his wand from wizardly hands
The Sovereigns stand in utter array
Swerving from curving spells on display.
'The King and Queen shake their heads in dismay'.

So I guess its now time for the sorcerers' say
As a myriad of arrows will wander their way
Towards the lord, and his hordes that now lay
Beneath an unsheathed sky of grey.
'The Mage then mutters the word..TOUCHE!'

Still they all stare at the glorious glare
Burning their bodies, with fiery flare
And the mage turns away for his job is now done
As it wasn't kings castle, nor queens throne to be won
'But the end to amend an alchemists fun.'
