Poem bit

In the depths of my longing, you never arrived,
As I yearned to be united, side by side.
My ink, once vibrant, now lies dry and still,
No longer fueled by emotions' potent thrill.
Β
With your passing, a void consumed my soul,
The muse that inspired me, no longer whole.
What once stirred my being, now a shallow vase,
Empty and devoid, leaving no trace.
Β
I planted a seed where dreams took flight,
Ascending to the heavens, soaring in the night.
Like molecules trapped within a cloud's embrace,
Preparing to break free, to touch the earthly space.
Β
Yes, my ink may have dried, but my tears persist,
A testament to love's enduring twist.
They flow ceaselessly, a river that won't tire,
For the loss of a mother is eternal mire
