LOVELY SMILE
Her face, an angel's  peace
tenderly bright,
With cheeks that
catch the gleaming light.
Her smile, a blossom,
 fresh and fair,
Dispelling shadows in the air.
But look more closely,
and you'll see,
A hint of touching memory,
Within the eyes,
so dark and vast,
A gentle sorrow built to last.
