Some words spilled
Mercurial
Unable to stand still
Lofty roads and highways
Decorate my garden home
Shelter comes calling
Some clots of mud
And a silent burial.

If there is a poetic loneliness is the loneliness of a funeral, the words spilled as the mercury unable to climb by elevated highways and roads, decorate the garden of my house and clot of mud stain the walls of my home. Beautiful written words to describe that poetic solitude that always accompanies a funeral.
There is no place for doubt, Shruti Goswami is a great poet.
