Powerless

I do believe there is an illness, that is destroying lives
I don’t believe it was because of a bat, the media, fake stories and lies
I do believe that the men with money have made a global plan
I don’t believe they are being truthful of where it all began

A virus man made, I’m no scientist but there is evidence from the past 
Of how the powerful see our future world, time to act now and fast 
All reading the same script,  trying to get us onboard 
While we are praying for are dying, our hearts broken chords
  
I do believe that they don’t care about the people left to suffer
I don’t believe they are acting in our best interests or for the world to recover 
I do believe its power, money, control and greed 
I don’t believe it just happened over night,  a virus so deadly indeed

The world and people hanging on,  who decides to pull the plug
Loved ones, leaving this earth, without a goodbye or hug
I’m just a minute voice in a big world, aching for all around 
Death by covid, suicide and hunger,  yet the world can’t make a sound
