Pretend Love

She loved the thought of us and so did I. If only we actually loved each other but that's not the case at all.

Face to face we stood as she screamed for the last time, "Get the hell off my lawn."

I thought to myself... it never was ours, as I walked off. That was the last straw, as confident as we both were... 

I know at times, I still feel I miss her but the truth of the matter is... I still just miss, the thought of us!
