Prince Mouse

Prince Mouse

A castle tall with stones of gray, the gates be opened one stormy day

As the gates fled open, a mouse ran in, and soon to find him in the den

Lost and cold, tired and shy, he snuggled under a lion head chair in the underskirt, he dare

Night passed, and in the morning, the mouse so hungry, scurried off to find the pantry

Off to one corner, then to another; he could hear whispers of the maid and the butler

A royal family owned this place, upon a hilltop with iron gates

Now suddenly the mouse heard a tiny voice across the marble floor he gasped

As he saw the most beautiful white pink eyed lady mouse, calling him over the dining room plates

Now to his quaint surprise, this damsel in distress, was flirting with him at best

The rest is just a fairy tale, of two royal mice in the castle of Ireland

Quickly they met and fell in love, and had twenty-one children of their own
