Procrastination

Isn't it funny how we put things off ?
Find an excuse, have a change of heart,
Those little jobs that just cannot wait
"I'll just do this, and then I'll start"

I sat down to sort some bills
Meaning to for some time,
But I stared at the letters and lost the will
And decided instead to pen a rhyme
-
So I picked up my pen to have some fun
And include it in a rhyme some way,
A poem about procrastination
But I'll save it for another day.
