Poem -

Pushing Away

once together
torn apart
but you're always
in my heart

when i left
my beat did to
your my rhythm
my good news

strong together
fell apart
striking hard
against your heart

broke you down
again and again
getting back up
you let me win

i was stupid
plain and dumb
please forgive me
you're my one

Rusty!  This is a very strong poem…emotional with the pain of loss and regret.  Love the last stanza:

" was stupid
plain and dumb
please forgive me
you're my one "
