A Simple Choice

Alas, I am a mystery that must remains
Look into my soul, see the beauty inside
Is the same outside but I have to hide,
My choice is to be invisible or be in chains.

I am the one dancer without a partner
I am the lonely star without its night sky
I am always the prey, never the hunter,
If you have an answer, just tell me why.

Alas, I am a mystery that must remains
I made the choice to run away and hide
No sweet goodbyes, no perfect rhyme
A simple choice, be invisible or be in chains.
