all else had fell and my wife packed up and walked away?

2.Lord where were you and why did you not hear me,

when I cried my most intimate and despaired, cry from the heart?

3.Lord where were you when I lost my home, nomad, forced to roam,

looking for shelter, and in search, of a better place to stay.

4.When I received the bad news, the loved one I would lose,

when death came a calling, suddenly and without malice?

5.Where were you when life itself felt misplaced, a road forced to travel,

a blemish on the lower totem pole, a pie thrown in face.

1.It was I, who allowed you to rest your weary eyes that night she left,

be picked up from your fall and awake to a brand new day.

2.But I did hear you and it was I, who removed the torrential rain fall,

that you’ve collectively cried, from each torn and tattered part.

3.It was I that day, who whispered, “Let’s pray,” and to come with me,

as I pave the road you take, where you now call home and stay.

4.But I to did cry, although just as they, (all) mankind must die,

to proclaim a rebirth, in my glorious father’s palace..

5.It was I, whom kept you standing, in the mist of all your falls,

and allowed that road traveled, to be safe and at your own pace.
