Rain

Rain

For I am wrapped in rain
slowly soaked in memories
an eternal fall into you
leaving dreams beneath skin
hope seeping into bones
that crack under the weight
But, who remembers dreams
and memories once faded
nothing remains in the flesh
nor the pathways of the mind
They have flown like birds
fleeing a blazing decaying sky.
