Poem -

That rain...

Out of nowhere,
you came in the rain.
An aroma revelling
like a carpet, hath lain.
Pervading my senses
deep, deep within...
Your aura was a bliss,
that caressed all pain.

The roses in my garden,
caught in a stupor...
Nimble was your touch,
they blushed with delight.
The lilies by the pool
vivacious and bright,
reeled in a trance
all day, all night...

Your serenading breath
evanesced into my bosom.
I found myself losing
somewhere...far away.
Flaring clouds in the sky
presented a vista,
too subtle to chronicle
too vivid to fade away.

There are no wounds,
they've all been slain.
Feelings out in open;
restraint gone in vain.
You never came back...
the tryst did remain.
For out of nowhere,
you came in the rain.
