Rainbow

Oh my life had no colors 
Just black, white and gray
There was never excitement 
just another regular day

Just a plain piece of paper
From a note book page
Just like a wash out actor 
getting booted of the stage

There was never a time
When the sun would shine
On this dark
lonely Life of mine

Then one day she says hello 
And my life starts to glow 
Red,, green, blue, yellow 
Like a bright rainbow

now all the changes in me
Are so clear to see
from that day that she gives 
The joy of writing back to me

But still I’m so skeptic 
No way can this be 
But when I look in the mirror 
Happiness looking back at me

Maybe I’m dreaming 
and one day I will awake
And all this happiness 
Will just be one big mistake

But I can’t hide it 
People say it shows 
Red, green, blue, yellow
Like a bright rainbow

Every one in this world
Have their own rainbow
Just let it in your heart 
And your life will glow

They say at the end of a rainbow 
There’s a pot of gold
And at the beginning of my happiness
There’s a girl with a golden soul

So I can denied it

Red, green, blue, yellow
Is the color of the rainbow
