Raining Cats and Dogs 🐕‍🦺🐈

Dogs barked as Cats meowed, pelting in the pouring rain

Torrentially tumbling down, dropping in the drain

As I stood blinking and squinting from eye strain

Felines and canines crashing on my windowpane

Why were these animals falling out from the sky?

Coz they caused such a commotion as feathered friends flew by

Sheltering for safety in the tall trees up high

When my fascination was fabricating within my mind’s eye

But I wonder can pussy cats and puppy dogs really be rain?

When they drop onto the dry ground, do they leave a smudged stain?

Smashed into smithereens, never animals again?
