READ THE WARNING SIGN

I needed a holiday so I decided on a trip
Seeing an unused pool I went in for a dip
It was then I realised I had made a huge mistake
For this wasn't a pool but actually a lake

I was too busy to heed the warning sign
At the bottom of the lake was an explosives mine
The water at first looked so inviting and clear
However the warning sign warned the water would soon disappear

So it proved the warning sign was right and correct
My dip in the lake was something I wouldn't forget
The explosives in the mine made a tremendous sound
I finished up quite naturally on the dry ground
