Rear View Mirror

Rear View Mirror

For those of you, In my rear view mirror.
And can "Take it on the chin"

We may have shared, good times together,
Or committed some crimes, not caught in.

I will cherish the memories, that we both share,
As if we were, a spiritual twin.

But if you lied, Like a cheap car salesman,
With a tongue, Made out of cotton.

Or used me for, your self gain.
And treated me, oh so rotten.

Remember this, You selfish fool.
Your are forgiven, but not forgotten.

I want you to know, I'm happy now.
No longer a part, of a Looney bin.

Serenity, is a gift of time.
Not something, Your greed can be bought in.

Quixotic.
